FAQ about our Wedding Makeup and Hair Services

Will my make-up last all day?

Yes your makeup will last all day when applied professionally. Although, to avoid any ‘shine’ or perspiration particularly in summer make sure you have a good powder and powder brush handy to lightly dust over face if necessary. Keep your lips looking fresh with a touch up lippy or lip gloss. You can purchase these products at your Trial or have them available on your Wedding Day.

Does my make-up have to be heavy for photos?

No you don’t need heavy makeup for photos but it does have to be applied correctly using professional products to even out skin tone and enhance your features. At Style & Grace a photo perfect natural look is always achieved.

Do you offer a hair service?

Yes, Julie St Clair from Style & Grace teams with talented hairstylists to offer you affordable hair & makeup packages.

How much time do you need on the day?

Makeup requires approx 1 hour for the bride and half an hour for bridesmaids, mum and others. Hair requires 45mins - 1 hour for each person.

Do I come to you for the trial?

Yes, trials are conducted at my home Salon in Mulgrave, 20mins from City and easy access via City Link and Monash Freeway as well as Eastern Freeway and East Link.

Do you come to me on the Wedding Day?

Yes absolutely, we offer a mobile service covering Melbourne metro, Peninsula and Yarra Ranges areas.

Do you charge a travel fee?

There are no travel fees for Melbourne Metro, however if travel time to your location is more than 45mins a fee of $25 per service professional will be added.

Do you require a Deposit?

Yes a $50 non refundable deposit is required at your Trial to secure your booking (provided of course you are happy with our work).

What form of payment do you accept?

On the Wedding Day we accept cash only. Up to 5 days prior to the Wedding we will accept direct deposit. Credit card payments on request.
